The Downs family spent Saturday in La Jolla. Grandpa is a big open water swimmer and loves to "show off" his territory! We took Corinne and Katelyn past the beach break and found sand sharks and sting ray! Then we drove to the cove and snorkeled/explored caves and a ton of beautiful fish!
The girls were confident and ready to swim!
Ericka did great for her first time!
Kye had practiced a ton in the pool so we thought she would be fine.
Uncle Paul attempted to snorkel with her but this is as far as she got! The first sight of fish completely freaked her out.
Kylee was NOT happy with the adventure but the rest of us had a great time. The water was super clear in the cove and the fish were colorful and beautiful! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for an awesome day at the beach!

That looks so fun! I love Kylee's face! I really do want to take my kids to the beach and Disneyland, so as soon as I find a time that works I might have to take you up on your offer! Do you think Tiffany would mind giving me permission to check her blog out?
