DOGGY STYLE

Never say never! I swore I would never get a dog... but I could not resist this adorable Maltese puppy. Jason and I surprised the girls on Raegan's birthday. We told the girls we were going on a drive when we pulled up to an unfamiliar house. The girls could see the puppy in the garage and begged to go and hold it. They still had no idea we were there to buy the dog until Jas suggested we bring the puppy home. The girls looked stupefied as they knew this must be a joke. Mom would never buy a dog!

When we finally were able to convince them that the dog was ours, they began jumping, screaming and hollering in eachothers arms! I think Kylee even had a few tears...

After passing on a few names like Spike, JaBraun (? Ask Jason) and Toaster (Aaron?) we decided on the good solid name of Toby. No rhyme or reason. It just fit. Boring maybe.
But it fit.

So far so good. Toby proves to be the best puppy in town! He pretty much came potty trained at the young, tender age of 10 weeks old. He doesn't bark, yap or howl in the night. He's hyper but can be snuggly. The girls are feeding him, helping bathe and brush him and even picking up his poop! I refuse.

As for now, we'll keep him.
