HOLIDAY LIGHTS

Ever since I was a little girl, it has been tradition to spend at least one night at the temple and touring the closest city to see the nativity and all the Christmas lights.

This year we were lucky enough to have all of the Downs family in town for the holiday season. We jumped into four vehicles and caravaned to the San Diego Temple. It was beautiful as always.

And, ofcourse, a picture of the cousins in front of the nativity.

After, we went to a new hot spot off of Black Mountain (56 fwy) which we had heard people raving about at the temple. It was AWESOME! It is called "Post Card Lane" and almost every home in this neighborhood (100's) are brilliantly lit up in Christmas lights with stand up wooden paintings, music and other holiday decor. Their is a lot of traffic so it might be more worth your while to park and walk up and down the different streets. You won't want to miss it next year!

How much fun! We know the couple/company that does the lights every year at the temple. They spend so much time on it-a total labor of love! And every year it looks so beautiful. I love the picture of you with your cute, cute girls! We just might have to try Postcard Lane next year...we have heard about it, but never been! :-)

I love reading about Team Fifield and all the fun stuff you do. Next year I have to remember to include the temple lights as part of my holiday celebration. Thanks for the inspiration!
