A DIFFERENT KIND OF MOTHERS DAY

A few weeks ago we found out that Grandma and Grandpa Hawaii would be in Hermosa Beach for Mother's Day! We decided it would be fun to take a little trip there for the weekend.

It had been two years since the girls had seen Grandma! They were so excited to be together again!

The beach was a little cold but it did not slow down the girls at all! They stripped down to their suits and jumped right in.

Jaida was happy and content on dry land with her beach toys... although she is starting to brave the water a little more lately.

And ofcourse, Raegan and Kye showing off their guns. I think they felt big and strong for braving the weather and water!
It was a nice, relaxing weekend together as a family. It was so good to see Grandma and Grandpa Hawaii and Uncle Leon and Aunt Janet. It was also nice to just have time with Jas and the girls... it's been awhile since we were able to get away. It's amazing how well we all get along when we can leave all of our distractions behind! It definitely reminded us of how important we are to eachother and how much fun we can have together... just the five of us!

I loved all your updates! Why did I always have that weird smile on my face in our dos de mayo pics? Strange.

It's been so fun looking at what your adorable family has been up to lately. I'm so sorry you've been so sick with baby girl number 4. This makes me miss you so much! You're the funnest girl ever.
