Our community held it's annual Easter Egg Hunt! We always arrive about 1 minute before the hunt (because we are ALWAYS late and there is never parking) and barely have time to find our age groups before the horn blows.
Always a little stressful
My girls always dominate. Nobody slows them down! They have no fear when it comes to hunting for candy in the middle of large, stampede-like crowds!
On Easter morning the girls got up bright and early. They raced downstairs to find their hidden baskets and eggs that the Easter bunny always hides. The big B brought them each a movie, water/sand toys and lots of candy.
We loaded them up just in time for church!
For dinner we had Ryan, Amy and a few of our homeless friends over for dinner. It was a blast! We ate the traditional homemade orange rolls, honey baked ham, turkey, cheesy potatoes, broccoli salad and strawberry shortcake for dessert!
We had a fabulous time despite the nausea and exhaustion... but that's nothing new! It was fun to have a holiday on our home turf for once, but I was definitely ready to end the day and go to bed!
Thanks for a fun time family and friends!
