BYU VS. SD

As soon as we found out BYU was playing San Diego,

we grabbed fifteen tickets for my family.

We had a busy Saturday filled with soccer games,

but as soon as we could, we dressed in blue

and headed to the big game.

My kids ran around a little wild.

Their cousins were not sitting too far away

and the girls noticed Aunt Luella had face paint

so off they went.

They came back with spirit!

The seats were great... super close to the field and on BYU's side.

unlike the last time when we were surrounded by the enemy

It was an earlier game this year so it was a little hot and humid...

luckily our seats were shaded.

Our good friends, the Childs, came and sat with us in the shade.

We were surrounded by ward members and friendly faces.

Unfortunately, my family was a little spread out... but I visited.

Kristen was great and took the baby for me

so I could relax a bit.

I'm sure that's just what she wanted

since she was paying a sitter to watch her baby!

What a sweet friend. :)

Catching up with some of my family!

I found my brother Trevor and his family!

Right next to them was my mom and dad
and next to them was Matt and his family! Paul and his family
and Bryan and his family had gotten separate tickets through someone
else so they were off doing their own thing.

BYU won!!!
The kids all scored and took home "pom poms".
Kye sent Jaida and Riley up to strangers, asking to give up their goods.
It worked.
Whatever...
I just pretended to not know whose kids they were!
On the way home, we stopped at the yummy family restaurant, "Daltons".
Kids eat free.
I'm game!

It was exhausting, but fun!
Can't wait for next time!
