PARTY AFTER PARTY

I always look forward to the last week before Winter break.
although stressful
It is full of parties and performances...
no work, all play!

Kye was so excited to play a reindeer in her 2nd grade musical!

She nailed it! ;)

Kylee and Mother Claus/teacher, Mrs. Grabau.

Kye loves to make silly faces.
It's rare to capture a good, 'ol fashion smile
from this character!
Mrs. Grabau's 2nd grade class.
...And then they partied!

Raegan's grade level also had a performance.
I think everyone in school wore their Christmas/winter Jammie's that day.

Raegan being a character as well...

The kids in Raegan's class had a month to memorize two traditional/seasonal poems.
Raegan had one of the longer more awkward ones...
but she didn't skip a beat!
Gotsta love those cheeks!!!

Raegan and Kye love showing off their sisters whenever we come to visit.
Raegan's class had a small party and book exchange as well.

Jaida absolutely loves preschool and Miss Michelle!
Jas and I missed her performance due to a last minute business jaunt to Vegas.
I know, I know...
Poor, neglected Jaida.
Luckily Grandma and Grandpa Downs pick up our slack!
They were there to take pictures and cheer her on.
They said she was really into it and knew all the words/dance moves to the songs.
That's my girl!
A few weeks later we happened to be at church and Jaida spotted Miss Michelle.
She had no idea we went to the same church and was so ecstatic to see her cool preschool teacher there. It was funny to see Jaida make the connection. I didn't even realize that she didn't know that Miss Michelle was a member of our church too!
Jaida's adorable preschool class.
Ryder (bottom right) and Crew (top right)
are in Jaida's carpool and I think she has a crush on both!
They convinced her that boy toys were super cool
so all she wanted for Christmas were "bakagons".
Santa slipped one in her stocking

We also delivered goodies to her main squeezes later on that week.
When the girls knocked on Ryder's door, he answered.
I think he was caught off guard because he yelled
"Hobo!" as he slammed the door.
The girls waited but he never came back!
It was hilarious!
We left the jar of toffee on the doorstep.
It surprisingly didn't even phase Jaida. Her and her sisters giggled about it the whole way home!
