Luckily I didn't forget Jaida's Christmas Dance Recital and Party.

Maybe my brain is starting to function again

Can I still use that excuse with a six month old?!

I was worried that Jaida would be upset that we couldn't buy her the "optional" Christmas costume but she seemed fine...

a little cold, but fine

and luckily there was one or two that didn't have a fluffy skirt either.

After the girls performed, they have their traditional gift exchange.
Miss Jeni reads a cute book while the gifts get passed around. When she says a particular word they rotate the bag. The rule is, nomatter what you get whether big or small,
you have to love it!
kids don't hide emotion easily when they are disappointed


Jaida couldn't wait to open her present!

The festivities end with hot cocoa and cookies.

Poor Jaida just about froze to death. It was definitely a chilly December day.
She even looks a little purple in this picture!
I couldn't find her tights in the rush of things AND I forgot her cute white jacket.
Poor Jaida.
So neglected.
I never skipped a beat with Raegan and Kylee.
Oh well.
Life goes on.
