Raegan's 9th Birthday
was supposed to be small and simple.
Once again...
I got out of hand.
along with cupcake decorating and apple dipping.
Because everything was "sweets" related
the apples had crushed butterfinger, reeses peanut butter cups, white chocolate Hershey, nuts and caramel for dunking and rolling in.
I had just had surgery so luckily Grandma Hawaii and good drugs
were here to help!
covering my entire family room floor.
we sang Happy Birthday to Raegan.
Then came the games...
The girls pick out an M&M from the bag and the color they draw becomes their color.
The bag then continues around the circle, every time a girl draws an M&M.
If they do not pick their original color...
they must store them in their mouth!
Abby won with a whopping 14 peanut M&M's in her mouth!
was where one girl left the room and the rest chose a picture.
Then a skittle is placed over each picture.
The girl comes back into the room and begins picking up the skittles and eating them
off the pictures she thinks they picked.
When she is about to pick the skittle off of the chosen picture
the girls scream
"Don't Eat Pete!"
In this game, the giant chocolate bar is wrapped several times.
The girls get a fork and mittens and begin unwrapping the chocolate.
The first team to successfully unwrap and eat the bar wins.
You'd think after all the candy they already had
they'd be sick...
but no
they wanted suckers!
I slept on the couch
keeping the girls contained.
I think the last one asleep was Megan
around 4 ish.
around 6 a.m.
the girls were up and ready to start their day!
I made them strawberry waffles,
hot chocolate and lots of whipping cream.
After breakfast
the girls dipped into the candy bar!
I was pretty impressed that everyone made it out alive.
The amount of candy and chocolate consumed
should have completely obliterated their poor little tummies.
Ofcourse, I really don't know what happened when they got home...
Ofcourse, I really don't know what happened when they got home...
All I know is, I survived.
