I cannot believe Kye is 6 years old! How time flies! This little girl is a joy in our lives. She has the funniest, liveliest personality. She is also strong willed and stubborn. I remember being three days over due with Kylee and having to take "Castor Oil" to get her OUT! I barfed myself into labor but literally delivered her within four hours of consuming the awful cocktail.
Kylee woke up to a package from Grandma and Grandpa Hawaii. She couldn't wait to open up her first present!
Grandma and Grandpa Hawaii sent an adorable hawaiin dress as well as a new helmet and pads.
Uncle Ryan and Aunt Amy surprised the girls after school for Kylee's birthday. We went to their neighbors home and rode horses until dark.
The girls are so brave! They had no problem taking control of the reigns. 
The Thomas family led the girls and their horses around, teaching all the proper techniques along the way.
Jaida even got in on the action. At the end of the night, the girls were able to ride the horses without any guide. Thank you Ryan, Amy and the Thomas Family for such a great birthday gift.
Then, ofcourse, we had the customary Downs Family Birthday Bash on Sunday! Grandma and Grandpa Downs made Kylee's favorite dish: salmon, rice pilaf, asparagus and holinday's sauce. After dinner, we all watched the birthday girl open her presents.
Raegan regifted her old horse.
Kylee had been talking about an underwater camera all summer long. I told her she was too young to have one.
So it came as quite a surprise when she opened her present!
I'm so glad she was happy with her gift! (Only twenty bucks!) 
All baby Mason wants for his birthday is tissue paper. He was very entertained.
Jaida felt special sitting next to the birthday girl!
Tradition in our family is for the birthday kid to receive birthday spankings. Kye woke up that morning anxious and upset... not wanting to get spanked. (Although she is MORE than happy to spank others on their birthday) Raegan was so sweet and offered herself (and her bum) on behalf of Kye. The kids thought it was hilarious as they all spanked Raegan for Kylee's birthday. What an awesome sister.
New Rule: If you can't take the heat... get out of the kitchen. Kylee will no longer be giving birthday spankings.
We love you so much, Kye! There is NEVER a dull moment with you around.

Agreed never a dull moment when Kylie is around, she is so entertaining. I still get a kick out of her when I hear what comes out of her mouth. She is looking so grown up going to school everyday I cant believe it!
Happy Birthday Kylie! You guys must have birthday parties all the time with all those grandkids runnin' around! Fun! Love your pictures, Kylie is definitely a hoot on camera.
