Every Labor Day we have a block party with neighbors, family and friends. We rent a huge water slide, my neighbors open up their backyard pool and we have LOTS of food. We literally block off our street and take over!
We all take our turns going down the slide... YES, even the adults! We love it. We do flips, we ride tandem, we go down on boogie boards.
When it's "Adult Time" the kids get the boot and stand around the edge of the slide hoping to get wet. They typically chant "We want Paul" since he tends to have the biggest splash!
The kids went back and forth between water slide and pool all day.
Jason and Brent took turns throwing the kids in the air. They threw one little girl so high she clearly missed being in the picture!

And last but not least, GW. I think we get this EXACT pose every year. Glen and Jas... Where were the "wife beater" tops this year?

Well I know where to go next year for Labor Day! How fun! I'm a hunting widow every year that weekend because it's opening weekend for elk hunting with a bow. So me and the kids just relax and play all weekend. Way to go on the ocean swim by the way!
