Our schools Jog-A-Thon helps raise thousands of dollars every year for our students and extra curricular activities! The girls always look forward to this special event. They enjoy collecting pledges... last year people pledged the girls one to two dollars a lap not realizing that A) it wasn't an actual track and B) our kids kick butt and would run over 30 laps! Needless to say, this years pledges were a flat rate. Smart choice.
I was able to help with Raegan's class this year and tally their laps. Raegan wasn't as hard core as she has been in the past, but still ended with 37 laps.
It was the perfect day with the perfect breeze.
Kye was a machine! She did not stop running/walking and kept a steady pace.
I was able to catch a few glimpses of Kye running on the other course because the girls had the same time slot and the tracks were right next to each other. It worked out beautifully!Kylee loves her teacher and stuck with her like glue!

Whew! It's over! Time to rest. Kylee ended with a whopping 39 laps. So proud to have outrun her sister...

Good thing we're not a competitive family! :)
