TWILIGHT

The much anticipated night finally arrived! After reading the first series of books since college (should I be announcing that?) I was excited to see the characters played out on the big screen.
A big group of us got to the theatre three hours early (which was nothing compared to the "die hard's" who got there at 6 a.m. that morning!) to watch the midnight preview of Twilight!
We met up at California Pizza Kitchen for a little grub but as we saw the line beginning to move we got a little antsy! We decided we might need to get our orders "to go"... but it took forever splitting the bill so we kinda started eating anyway. Poor waitress spent all that valuable time boxing everything for us indecisive, crazy fans...

Note to self: Eating lettuce wraps while standing up in line outside DOES NOT WORK!

And ofcourse, once I caught a wiff of the yummy, buttery, salty popcorn and extra large DP, the lettuce wraps were no longer appetizing...
so in the garbage they went!

It was the perfect night with the perfect plan! (Actually, we got kinda lucky) We waltzed right through the line outside and as soon as they took our ticket they informed us they had just opened theatre 10! We made a mad dash and were the first ones in the theatre.
Jokes on those that waited all day!
suckers
The overall experience was awesome! I even liked Edward more in the movie than in the book. Jacob's my favorite but we will have to wait to see more of him in the next movie. Can't wait!
Shout out to Rach for getting me a ticket!
Thanks girls for an exhilarating evening!!!

I thought Edward was the only good character. I thought the movie was pretty poor but I can't wait for the next and can't stop thinking about it. I want to read them again.

Jenn- I would LOVE to go and take Jared but tomorrow evening is cram packed from about on. I have a meeting in Fallbrook, then a Presidency meeting, and my sister-in-law is flying in all in one night, it's gonna be crazy. If we didn't have all that happening, I would totally go again. I saw it for a second time Saturday night with some girlfriends and already can't wait to see it a third time. Thanks for thinking of me though. Have a blast!
