SURPRISE!!!

For two years

we've had a huge, gaping hole

where a trampoline once resided.

Grandma and Grandpa Downs thought it was about time to fill it!

Because we weren't going to be home for Christmas this year

Grandma and Grandpa wanted to give the girls their gift in person

before we headed out.

They made the girls close their eyes as they led them out front of our house.

It took a moment for the girls to realize what their present was.


They began screaming and shouting Hooray as soon as they recognized it was
a brand new trampoline!

Lots of gratitude for their new gift.

It's funny how much more you appreciate things when it doesn't come so easily...

Mom and dad were especially happy to no longer have crater in their backyard.
